Genderisation

The Bottom Line

Seek out thinkers today — you’ll have a lot of fun debating controversial ideas.

In Detail

You’re usually the last sign on the list to take things seriously –
if there’s any way at all to have some fun. At the moment, however,
your razor-sharp intellect has informed you that something needs to be
done quickly, regardless of how radical it seems to others. You’re the
only person on board who’s equipped to make a logical decision. Well,
go ahead; you might have to sacrifice an evening of fun to get things
straightened out, but won’t you be proud tomorrow?

Okay…I like to read this horoscope thing but I do not believe in it…However, coincidentally what is being described in the ABOVE is exactly what I am feeling at the moment…At this moment, everyone is out having fun playing tennis and frisbee and no matter how much I want to join them, I have alot more important things to do first…Anyway, something is bugging me…so gonna typey this down before I start on my work…

had a conversation with a friend in the early hours of the morning that made  me think about this matter…genderisation…

Are we guilty of genderising each and every object, human characteristic, behaviour etc? Why do we do that? Why is there a need for masculinity and feminity? Are the differences between men and women actually just in their physical characteristics?

I agree that men and women differ in terms of their physical attributes…(duh!) and that both men and women have the same basic emotions. But….

Anyway…I need someone to help me out with this…

Actually, I can’t even put the question down in words…I think I need to think more before I can come to a firm conclusion to this…
